(Richland Center, Wis.)  Students enrolling in the Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences (BAAS) degree-completion program at University of Wisconsin-Richland this fall can now choose coursework with a concentration in Project Management.

“The brand new project management concentration is an opportunity for individuals to develop skills employers are looking for,” Joanna Muller, academic advisor of the BAAS program at UW-Richland and UW-Baraboo/Sauk County, explains.  “Local employers are telling me they want employees who can manage complex projects involving diverse teams.  This concentration provides that through courses like Project Management Simulation,” Muller continues.

BAAS is a bachelor’s degree that can be earned at UW-Richland.  The BAAS degree-completion program is designed for adults who may have jobs or families and want to earn a bachelor's degree close to home. Classes are taught both in-person and online by faculty from UW-Richland and other partnering campuses.  Existing BAAS degree concentrations include Business, Communication, Health & Wellness, Organizational Leadership and Sustainability.

Fall enrollment opens Monday, April 10 for BAAS students.  Those who have earned an associate degree from Southwest Wisconsin Technical College may also apply that degree toward a BAAS degree at
UW-Richland.  Those interested in learning more or applying for the BAAS degree program should contact Muller at 608.647.6186, extension 228, at joanna.muller@uwc.edu, or visit
