Nominations are being accepted now through April 15 for the University of Wisconsin-Richland Alumni Association 2014 Outstanding Alumni Award. The association honors two alumni each year—one from the Richland County College and another from the present campus.
People are encouraged to nominate an alumnus they feel is worthy of special recognition. That individual may be a leader in his or her field, an involved community volunteer, or in some other way deserving of recognition that positively reflects on the UW-Richland Alumni Association and the university.
The two individuals chosen will be honored at Fall Alumni festivities planned for Saturday, October 4 on campus. Last year, the UW-Richland Alumni Association honored credit union president Kevin Hauser, Richland Center, Class of 1987, and educator Eileen Eberle, Spring Green, Class of 1950. To see a list of all past recipients online, go online to richland.uwc.edu > alumni > activities.
Make your nomination by sending a letter detailing your nominee’s achievements, leadership activities, involvement in professional activities or community organizations, honors and awards received, and any other relevant information to: UW-Richland Alumni Association President Kathy Granger, E17384 County Highway V, Hillsboro, WI 54634. For more information, contact Alumni Liaison John Poole by calling the campus at (608) 647-6186, Extension 266.
