(Richland Center, Wis.) The University of Wisconsin-Richland will host Taste of Richland, a spring preview day for prospective students and their families, Thursday, April 19 from 5-7 p.m. in the Pippin Conference Center of Melvill Hall. The event is free and open to the public.
Taste of Richland will feature information on admissions, degrees and the financial aid process. Attendees will also have the chance to tour campus and hear from current students, faculty and staff. “Taste of Richland offers anyone who wants to continue their education the chance to see what their local University of Wisconsin campus can offer,” said Greg Zimmerman, acting campus administrator.
During campus visits, participants will be able to view labs and classrooms, athletic facilities, student common spaces, and music, theatre and arts areas. Advisors will be available to discuss campus life, housing options and academic planning, including UW-Richland’s associate degree and the Guaranteed Transfer Program with every four-year UW campus.
