UW-Richland seeking outstanding alumni nominations

By UW-Richland

(Richland Center, Wis.)   Nominations for the 2018 Outstanding Alumni Award at the University of Wisconsin-Richland are being accepted through April 16.  The Alumni Association will honor a maximum of five individuals for award recognition, including honorees representing both UW-Richland and Richland County Teachers College (RCTC) eras. Honorees are recognized during Fall Alumni Day activities slated for Saturday, October 6.

Kathy Granger, president of the UW-Richland Alumni Association, says, “All former students of RCTC and UW-Richland are eligible nominees; they must be eligible for membership in the association, but need not be paid members.”  Attendance and earned credits at one of the institutions is required.  Completion of a degree at RCTC or UW-Richland is not a requirement, however.

The Outstanding Alumni Award recognizes individuals who have achieved a level of excellence in their chosen career field and/or have distinguished themselves through leadership and community service activities.

Nominations will be accepted on or before April 16.  Please submit nominations to Kathy Granger, Alumni Association President at E17384 Cty Hwy V, Hillsboro, WI  54634 or fairladykkg@yahoo.com.
