Annual Campus Security Report
The UW-Richland Annual Security Reports include statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus, in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by campus and on public property within or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus.
The reports also include institutional policies concerning campus security, such as policies concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault and other matters.
Students will be notified each year, via e-mail, when the updated report is published. Copies of the report can be obtained from the Student Affairs Office.
Severe Weather Policy
When the weather is especially bad and you’re wondering whether or not classes are being cancelled, check your university e-mail. As the official university communication link, e-mail will be the primary form for notifying you if specific class sections are being impacted by bad weather, or, in extremely bad weather, if the campus is closed entirely. In addition, announcements will be made on Radio Station WRCO (1450 AM or 100.9 FM, www.wrco.com) in Richland Center.
Although the Ebola virus poses no immediate threat to the general United States population, it is important to be aware of any changes in your health if you have recently traveled to one of the countries where the Ebola outbreak is occurring (currently Guinea, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Nigeria and the Republic of the Congo) and to seek immediate medical care. For further information please check the UW Colleges and UW-Extension Health Information page.
