Dr. Darby Brown, La Crosse, is teaching concepts of biology and anatomy and physiology courses. She has a Ph.D. in microbiology from UW-Madison, and a bachelor's degree in biology from Metropolitan State College of Denver, Colorado, with a major in biology and minors in chemistry and fine arts. Last year, she completed a research fellowship at the School of Biological Sciences at the University of Auckland, New Zealand. Her teaching experience includes service as a teaching assistant for two years at UW-Madison. Through a variety of programs, she's taught science to children though adults. The author of book chapters and research papers in her field, she is also a member of the American Society for Microbiology and Association for Women in Science. |
