UW-Richland associate professor of philosophy and 2013 Wisconsin Institute of Public Policy and Service Fellow Dr. Dale Murray will focus on the possible effects of frac sand mining on human communities in Wisconsin.Concerns about water use, air and noise pollution, land scarification, and increased stress on transportation infrastructure will be discussed.
