The best way to do this is ask!
It generally only takes a few days for items to arrive. After two or three days, please call, send an e-mail, or stop in to see if your items are at the circulation desk. It is a good idea to follow up when items do not come in when you are expecting them. If there is a problem, the librarian can call the lending library to find out what may have happened.
