“Financial Aid Nights” help families find college funds

Meet UW-Richland’s new assistant dean for student affairs at January/February events
12/10/13

To help families better prepare for the college financial aid application process that begins in January, University of Wisconsin-Richland assistant campus dean for student affairs Annette Hackbarth-Onson has scheduled a series of Financial Aid Nights at area high schools. These free, hour-long programs are designed to assist high school seniors and their families as they plan for college next year.

Hackbarth-Onson joined the UW-Richland community in July. For those who have not yet had the opportunity, attending one of these programs is a way to connect with the chief student affairs official on the Richland Center UW campus.

She will explain various types of financial aid and guidelines for state and federal programs. Information about scholarships—including the UW-Richland Scholarship Program’s extensive offerings-- and the college application process will be presented. Details about online applications and forms will be provided.

For the convenience of families, “Financial Aid Night” programs will be held in numerous southwest Wisconsin locations. The schedule is:
