Results of the annual UW Colleges Integrator of the Year competition were announced yesterday and six of the top dozen scorers—including the first place position--are University of Wisconsin-Richland students.
The 2013 competition involved a total of 24 students from UW Colleges campuses, including, in addition to UW-Richland, UW-Baraboo/Sauk County, UW-Barron County, UW-Fond du lac, UW-Manitowoc, UW-Marathon County, UW-Rock County, and UW-Washington County.
Two of the three top placing competitors—Number 1 placing Jae Suk Kim, South Korea, and Number 3 placing Lu Shen, China--are UW-Richland students. Other UW-Richland students who placed in the top 12 were Minh Tran, Vietnam; Padraic Heberlein, Richland Center; Cameron Magee, Richland Center; and Chin Leang Ong, Malaysia.
UW-Richland associate professor of mathematics, instructor of these honored calculus students said, “I’m proud of these accomplished students.”
