Seeking Outstanding Alumni nominations

By UW-Richland

(Richland Center, Wis.)  Nominations for the 2017 Outstanding Alumni awards at the University of Wisconsin-Richland are being accepted through April 15.  Honorees will be recognized during Fall Alumni Day activities on Saturday, October 7.

Kathy Granger, president of the UW-Richland Alumni Association, says all former students of the Richland County Teachers College and UW-Richland are eligible nominees; they must be eligible for membership in the association, but need not be paid members.  The Outstanding Alumni awards recognize individuals who have achieved a level of excellence in their chosen career field, and/or have distinguished themselves through leadership and community service activities.

The UW-Richland Alumni Association will honor a maximum of five individuals for award recognition, including honorees to represent both the UW-Richland and Richland County Teachers College eras.

Nominations may be submitted through April 15 and may be sent to Kathy Granger, UW-Richland Alumni Association president, E17384 Cty Hwy V, Hillsboro, WI  54634.  Nominations may also be e-mailed to her at:  For more information about the UW-Richland Alumni Association, visit
